Opportunities for GPs to learn about nutrition are increasing!

Below are 3 main reasons to take this study into consideration
- I feel fortunate that most of the content is aimed at addressing the gap our team has identified that GPs have insufficient knowledge, skills and attitudes towards nutrition.
- Some dietitians actually discourage other health professionals to learn about nutrition. They want to be the only ones who are seen to have expertise, which is not patient-centred. We need as many health professionals as possible giving evidence-based, safe and effective support to people to eat well.
- This is a high quality program developed by leading dietitian academics in the field. I strongly recommend GPs explore this as an option for CPD and an avenue to improve the quality of care they provide to patients.
If you fit the above criteria and you fully believe you have not only the skills and drive required to alter the attitudes of a misguided society but you honestly believe you have what it takes to retrain the beliefs of fellow GP’s, then we firmly encourage you to join our team.
